Responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities and work performance of distribution center staff to meet established standards and goals for safety, productivity, accuracy and quality.•Supervise the activities and work performance of an assigned staff; completing distribution center operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees•Ensure department, facility, systems and company procedures are followed consistently•Establish performance objectives, assign work, monitor and communicate performance results•Maintains warehouse staff job results by training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results with direct feedback•Support cross-functional work group efforts to continuously improve work processes•Maintains physical condition of distribution center by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; inspecting facility; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement•Generate and maintain essential management reports for departments and employee feedback •Maintain Infinitime (electronic timecards) on a daily basis; ensuring accurate department time and employee compensation•Lead as example Tacoma Screw Products, Inc. rules and regulations Therefore, I oversee the day to day overall functions of each department are complete and meet the needs of other demands from multiple warehouses, troubleshooting the changing priorities throughout the day and establishing company programs such as our Hazardous Materials handling procedures to be in compliance with state and Federal agencies. These changes and accomplishments have come through with vision of future goals and collaborative efforts with individual leads and collective efforts to create a thriving, productive and positive working environment.
