ABOUT TIM SMALLSHAW

I am an experienced manager who initially progressed through quality engineering and management in the automotive industry before extending my range to include environmental and health and safety responsibilities. For more than 10 years I have worked in key roles within the renewables industry, predominantly in offshore wind farm construction projects. I have worked for the Client / Principal Contractor in senior Construction HSE management roles on the Humber Gateway, Rampion & East Anglia ONE Offshore Wind Farms. Graduate member of IOSH. I am an enthusiastic manager with lots of energy and a proven track record assisting safe implementation of multi-million pound projects. I enjoy being part of a successful and productive team and gain satisfaction from working with people to solve problems in challenging situations. I lead by example and encourage a collaborative and mutually beneficial environment within my teams and wider project organisation. I get satisfaction from my team and the individuals who work for me when they succeed and achieve their best. My core competencies are within construction HSE and QA management, engineering and advice. With wider attributes that include excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with the ability to work well in pressurised situations.
