   Blaine Residents, I am announcing my candidacy to become the next Mayor of Blaine.As Mayor, I will work to ensure that you have a voice, and that our city government operates with transparency and is accountable to you, the resident.Over the 18 years that my wife Farrah and I have lived here, we have seen the community grow and thrive. I would like to be a part of leading Blaine into the future and would build on the accomplishments of Mayor Ryan and past City Councils, while focusing efforts on areas that we as a City can and should do better in.One issue, on all our hearts and minds, is Highway 65. Serving you in the Minnesota House of Representatives was an amazing privilege, and provided me invaluable leadership experience in governing, collaborating, influencing and engaging federal, state and local governments to get results - all of which are needed to help solve a bi-partisan problem like Highway 65. In order for our city to reach its full potential, our infrastructure must be drastically improved.There are many other issues facing the City, such as economic development, traffic, budget growth, and many others that are emerging during these difficult times. All of these are important issues that I have some viewpoints on, and I would enjoy visiting with you about.My wife Farrah and I have three awesome kids. Farrah is an R.N, and all 3 of our children are very involved in local community sports and our church, Emmanuel Christian Center.
