ABOUT TIM RANKIN-MILLS

Group CIO with a delivery‑grounded background, focused on aligning technology strategy, quality and execution.Since I’ve worked across a broad range of IT roles including support, development, business analysis, application & project management and team leadership. This breadth has given me a practical, end‑to‑end understanding of the software development lifecycle and how technology decisions translate into real business outcomes.A consistent thread throughout my career has been software quality and testing. That focus became a genuine passion when I began working with Tricentis Tosca, combining test automation with my broader delivery and operational experience. This led to implementing Tosca for clients across New Zealand, Australia & Singapore and into leadership roles including Executive Director of The Testing Consultancy in Singapore and later Head of Technology.In my current role as Group CIO, I focus on setting and executing group‑wide technology strategy. I’m responsible for ensuring platforms, data, security and operating models support growth while balancing innovation, risk and operational resilience across regions. I am a member of the board and work closely with executive leadership to align technology investment with business priorities and measurable outcomes.At heart, I’m a technologist who values clarity, execution and people and my background in testing and quality continues to shape my approach. I believe in implementing systems that are reliable, designed for change and supported by pragmatic governance. I’m particularly interested in how automation and modern cloud platforms can scale high‑quality outcomes without unnecessary complexity.
