About Timothy Ramsier

It may have taken me longer to reach my passion than many and the path may have been a winding one, but I have finally started doing what I love, Software Engineering. I like to think that it is the journey and not necessarily the destination that helps us grow. After working as a retail manager for over 10 years, I decided to make a career change and entered the tech industry. I started as Help Desk Support while I learned about the Online Media industry, eventually making my way to Systems Administration before starting my most recent journey. It may have taken me more than a decade longer than I originally planned, but I am finally doing what I dreamed of when I was young.When I am not working, I enjoy great movies, music, and reading. I am also a huge Cleveland sports fan, which can be difficult in the Bay area (Go Cavs!). I love to work on personal software development projects or play with new technologies that pique my curiosity. That curiosity is what drove me to pick up coding again.
