About Tim Fitzgerald
My focus is helping American Seafoods achieve best-in-class environmental performance in all areas of our business. This includes leading initiatives on decarbonization, packaging and operational waste, technology innovation, sustainable finance, carbon accounting and ESG reporting. In a nutshell our goal is to position wild, sustainable seafood as the most responsibly-produced protein on the planet.Prior to joining American Seafoods I was an academic marine ecologist and an ocean conservation advocate. I am an impatient ocean optimist at heart, care deeply about climate change and food security, and am a sucker for cool ocean tech and innovation.
