   ELM provides utility locating services to leading utility companies throughout the West and Southwest, plus Microgrid energy storage system solutions to customers worldwide, with annual revenues of $90MM. Lead all company accounting, compliance, reporting, cash flow, bank and financing activities. Lead close, reporting, variance analysis, annual budgeting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable collections, all audits, CapEx reviews, debt covenants, borrowing capacity reporting, process improvements. Provide financial counsel to company founder, CEO and leadership team. Lead 401k committee. Direct staff of 4. Insourced accounting activities from external accounting firm through work analysis and mentoring staff, reducing operating expenses while improving visibility, timeliness and control of financial data. Implemented new fixed asset system replacing 9 year old legacy system. Led all aspects including replacement system research, system testing, asset upload, staff education and custom reporting. Implemented percent of completion revenue recognition method for Microgrid operating unit, improving financial reporting, project profitability tracking, collaboration and cash flow analysis.
