About Timothy Maynard
Doctor Timothy J. Maynard, Knight of Malta, is currently the Catholic Chaplain for the Diocese of Providence at the Rhode Island Department of Corrections Maximum Security Prison and Intake Service Center. In addition he is a freelance writer, an adjunct professor in culture & anthropology field studies and international relations, and an ardent community service volunteer. He retired from the Navy in 2010. Prior to his retirement he was Associate Dean of Students and a member of the resident faculty at the U.S. Naval War College. He also served on the faculty of the U.S. Naval Academy.
