Oversees the execution of Quality Assurance Programs in an appropriate manner acceptable to the government customer. Coordinates all efforts to ensure 100% safe, on-time, properly configured, reliable aircraft to perform missions in accordance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements. Knowledgeable, experienced, and ensures Quality Control, Training, Safety, Health, and Environmental responsibilities are fulfilled in compliance with Company procedures and that contract requirements are met or exceeded involving rotary wing aircraft maintenance. Maintains surveillance over operations and activities to detect areas of accident or injury potential, unsafe acts or conditions and takes immediate action to correct unsatisfactory situations. Directs, plans, coordinates, controls, and evaluates the operations and personnel assigned in Quality Management, Training, Safety, Health and Environmental areas. Responsible for the overall effectiveness and administration of the Quality Control and ISO/AS 9110 programs. Supervises, controls, and provides resources to expedite flow of communication in a secure and expeditious manner. Manages the Certification/Recertification training programs for all contract employees. Maintains a quality control database suitable to track quality control discrepancies for historical and trend data analysis purposes as well as to conform to any PWS requirements.
