About Tim Becker

I am a senior producer, designer, storyteller, educator, integrator, and explorer of the human experience; creating experiences, engaging audiences, educating and illuminating to move and transform, capturing memories and creating new ones. I have a depth and breadth of experience producing and designing theatre, live experiences, experiential marketing, brand activations, permanent installations, as well as those captured on film and video. I have experience in creative development, design, client relationship, vendor coordination and supervision, and how they culminate through careful management, integration, organization, and execution into ‘an experience,’ both live and on screen.My passion for storytelling and creating images began working in professional theatre and experiential marketing when I was in my teens. I pursued professionally and academically the art and craft of theatre design; developed a deep appreciation and understanding of collaboration, telling a story and making a difference in the lives of the audience. I utilize psychology and physiology of how one experiences - applying the components of light, sound, scenery, the sung and spoken word, and physical space.I have received more than a dozen awards for design achievement and development including 4 Telly Awards and 2 grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and from the IESNA. I have created, managed and rectified over 100 critical budgets of up to 5 million dollars. I provide leadership and thrive in collaboration. I have extensive knowledge of stage technology, lighting, scenery, video projection, led displays, remote video conferencing, video producing, shooting, editing writing and direction. I have experience in a vast array of collaborations with clients, vendors, and venues while managing challenging timelines, critical budgets, expectations, and outcomes.
