About Timothy A. Romi Romick
My passion is for people, payments, and technology. I am entirely made of flaws, stitched together with good intentions, great thanks and wonderful aspirations. I believe that we can empower the world by empowering people to do amazing things! Ever since I was a kid I have been obsessed with and loved the idea of digging into practical and complex problems and innovatively solving them which has continued throughout my professional career. To accomplish this, I focus on key results, build amazing teams and quickly adapt to new insights. I have enjoyed many varying and executive positions throughout my career in Payments, FinTech, Financial and Treasury Services. My personal and professional experiences have taught me the following about myself: I continue to successfully design, implement, scale products and optimize business results that matter from $1M to well over $1B in revenue- I put the customer (whether internal, cross-functional roles or external) at the center of all that I and more importantly my teams do)- I excel at the execution of big ideas with given constraints - My gut instinct is reliable, but I seek facts and figures for my decisions I align, lead, and grow loyal teams that exceed requirements and goals - I love to win, but helping the team achieve success brings me the greatest joy - I speak laymen, tech, and exec - I tell great narratives that motivate - I accept the ultimate responsibility for decisions…the buck always stops with me I educate, refine, and drive myself to be a better person - I am a persistent seeker of knowledge and constantly learning because I never settle - I stay calm when faced with adversity - I focus on making high-quality decisions I enjoy volunteering, engaging and discussing ideas.
