About Timothy Adler

Prior to my retirement in May 2024, I was a Partner and the Regional Assurance Quality Leader for Forvis Mazars, LLP, a top ten professional services firm. My primary responsibility was oversight and coordination of the Southwest Region assurance practice of our offices in Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Arizona, and Arkansas. These responsibilities included engagement quality reviews of audit, attestation, and review engagements; consultation on complex accounting and auditing issues; reviewing accounting policy conclusions of clients and audit teams in many industries; directing and contributing to audit policy decisions; overseeing and conducting training on accounting and auditing matters; assisting with quality control within the Southwest Region and across the firm. My client service experience included SEC registrants, energy companies, financial institutions, other commercial enterprises, not-for-profit organizations, healthcare entities, and employee benefit plans. In addition, I served as a team captain on FORVIS’ internal inspection teams and a peer reviewer of other CPA firms.
