About Timothy Watts

As a business leader, I see my role as elevating those I lead. Our stories should not simply be about the problems we’ve solved, but rather about the people we have learned from and those we have helped along the way. My background has given me a strong foundation in engineering and team leadership and my experiences during my MBA at Carnegie Mellon University have helped me to hone my business acumen and strategic perspective. Though I appreciate the technical skills I have accumulated, I have come to understand how my career path has helped me to become an excellent split-level communicator and have learned how to leverage this ability to align teams of varying levels of technical proficiency, strategic understanding, or English fluency on what matters most. In this way, I work to put people at the center of my priority and focus the people on the problems we are trying to solve.My resume below can speak for itself and so I’d like to introduce who I am on a personal level.I am first and foremost a husband to an amazing women and father to a wonderful daughter. I have learned the importance of honesty and honor as both, and I strive every day to be a man they can trust and lean on. I work to embody these in my professional life and find true joy in being there for those who rely on me.I am a dreamer and an optimist. In my mind, no accomplishment is out of reach, no dream is too big. I find energy and excitement in chasing down ideas, chatting about creativity, and listening to the hopes of others. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone light up while they describe what they hope to accomplish.I am a hobbyist chef who gets lost in the attention to detail which cooking requires. Food is my main form of connection, and I thrive on bringing people together around a good meal.
