Responsibilities including machine tool programming and operation from start to finish, supplying the assembly departments of various in-house-made process analysers. Familiar in programming, set-up, and operation of single and dual spindle lathes, Proficient in the programming and operation of up to 4 axis mills. Very familiar working with difficult to machine stainless alloys inclucing hastelloys and inconels.Understanding of prints and software associated with the fabrication of custom instrument components. Up to date training and understanding of the current GibbsCam software.Competent with all necessary manual inspection and measuring equipment to work in tolerances to 4 decimal places.Familiar with manual machine tools common in most machining facilities such as manual mills (bridgeports) lathes, theading machines, automated and manual saws, washing and passivation equipment, scribing and laser etching equipment, and various common machine shop hand tools.Key member of a small-group team responsible for manufacturing and assembling Portable Hydrogen Analyzers for US Navy.
