Tim is an Adjunct Professor of Law and Director of the Trademark and Entrepreneur Clinic for the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. The Clinic assists, on a pro bono basis, individuals needing help to start a company (perhaps via the formation of a limited liability company), protect the company via various business protection type agreements (e.g, Operating Agreements and Confidentiality Agreements), and protect the company\'s IP trademarks and copyrights (e.g, via the filing of registration applications with the U.S. Trademark Office or the U.S. Copyright Office as well as the State of Michigan Trademark Office). Tim supervises and directs students of the class and Clinic in assisting clients, who have financial constraints that limit their ability to otherwise obtain quality legal assistance and are selected based on applications submitted.
