I manage the global cost estimating and sales proposal activities for Shiloh Industries with 23 production sites in the US, Mexico, China, Poland, Sweden, The Netherlands, and Italy. My team of cost estimators and I facilitate all cross-departmental activities related to the estimating process. Beginning with comprehensive commercial and engineering feasibility analysis on each customer request, we develop a production plan that provides the most efficient use of material, capacity, manning and capital. We then implement competitive and profitable pricing strategies. To ensure we remain competitive and profitable, my team processes all engineering change request and participates in plant level and corporate level lean manufacturing, value added and value engineering, and Six Sigma initiatives.Shiloh Industries is dedicated to delivering lightweighting, noise and vibration solutions to automotive, commercial vehicle and other industrial markets.
