ABOUT TIMOTHY MULÉ

I currently work as Senior Director of Development with EDP Renewables for the Western Region. In my tenure with EDP Renewables, I have contributed to the development, construction, and commissioning of over 1 GW of now operating renewable energy projects within WECC. I continue to direct a team in the development of several more GWs of utility-scale solar, wind, and storage projects in the western United States, from site assessment through construction.I have previously traveled and volunteered around the world. My previous projects include an independent relief initiative for the Rohingya refugees of Myanmar, to provide potable water and community solar lighting in the Balukhali camp in Bangladesh.I\'ve completed The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) InnoEnergy Renewable Energy Masters Program (RENE), and received a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Engineering. My first year (20••••16) of studies was conducted at KTH in Stockholm, Sweden and was focused on general renewable energy technologies - followed by a summer program (2016) at ESADE in Barcelona, Spain in business management and practices. The second year consisted of technical studies at Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain (20••••17) and culminated with my master\'s thesis at The SELCO Foundation in Bangalore, India, where I analyzed ways that solar photovoltaic devices can improve primary health care in rural and tribal regions of developing countries.I was formerly employed as a mechanical design engineer at Sensata Technologies in the greater Boston, Massachusetts area. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Energy Technologies from Boston University. I am passionate about working on innovative and impactful projects that will help combat anthropogenic climate change. I am primarily interested in opportunities pertaining to renewable energy technologies and their applications around the globe.
