About Timothy McLean

From 1986 to 2023, I have served our great country as an enlisted, commissioned officer, and Army Civilian in the Adjutant General and Civilian Human Resources arena. My service took me to the Pentagon, Fort Meade, MD, Presidio of San Francisco, CA, Fort Campbell, KY, Fort Bragg, NC, Redstone Arsenal, AL, SHAPE Belgium, Mannheim, Germany, South Korea, and Kosovo). My journey instilled in me a vast amount of experience in fellowship, leadership, teamwork, and collaboration. From 1986 starting with six college credits to 2018, I earned two Bachelor\'s degrees (Public Management and Psychology) and a Master\'s degree (Public Administration). In 2017, I earned my Leadership Coaching for Organizational Wellbeing Certification from George Mason University and started my Mindful Self with Timothy McLean, LLC immediately thereafter. My life experiences, military service, civilian service, and coaching efforts results in the publication of my Mentality Switch 1.0 Book and Journal in 2021 which focuses on helping others to unlock the roadblocks in their life that keep them stuck from fulfilling their purpose in life. Effective December 31, 2023, I retired from my Army Civilian position as the U.S. Army Materiel Command, G-1, Civilian Workforce and Talent Management Division Chief to pursue my coaching efforts.
