About Timothy McClellan

I often ask myself, How did I get here? Half way through college, I had no idea what I wanted to do for a career. My only interests were wrestling.and enjoying the freedoms that come along with college life. Fortunately, my coach (Coach Bill Trujillo) was very wise. He grabbed me after practice and \"gently\" reminded me that I needed to be working toward a degree. After a long conversation about how I had no idea what I wanted to do, coach asked me what my Dad did for a living. I told him that my Dad was a general contractor. Coach immediately told me about the \"amazing\" Construction Management Program at Purdue University. He was also sure to walk with me to the deans office to enroll in the program. At the time, I didn\'t understand the leadership and wisdom in his \"recommendation\", but I sure am thankful today! My role as one of the owner\'s of Miles-McClellan Construction involves strategic thinking and leadership. Both skills I learned through wrestling and Purdue University. Thank you Coach Trujillo!
