About Timothy Kroecker
It is my honor and privilege to work for the Air Force Research Laboratory - Information Directorate and focus on recruiting employee candidates through intern programs and developing current employees and leaders through providing assessment, development, and coaching programs. In 2019 I was the Air Force Winner for the 2019 National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Roy Wilkins Renown Service Award. In the past decade and a half, I\'ve led multiple outreach activities with national diversity-based organizations, establishing an intern program in Rome NY for underrepresented groups in STEM and developing a scholarship program (tuition reimbursement and internships) for underrepresented group in STEM. I served as a partial sponsor for a Center of Excellence in Cyber Security with Norfolk State University, a Center of Excellence in Large Autonomous Vehicles at North Carolina A&T University, and a Center of Excellence in Big Military Data at Prairie View A&M University in Texas. One of the primary purposes of the Centers of Excellence at each of these outstanding public Historically Black Colleges/Universities is to create opportunities that support and contribute to the mentorship, hiring, development, advancement or retention of all personnel including women and minorities in government service. Additionally, I created summer intern programs with the Department of Education and the City University of New York. I also specialize in the design, development, and implementation of competency-based recruiting and development systems. Additionally, I provide consultation to clients on competency modeling, online assessment, competency-based e-learning tools, and the presentation of a wide variety of survey instrumentation and feedback vehicles. Most recently, I was the project manager for the development of an organization-wide competency model for the Transportation Security Administration. I have also worked extensively with the Project Management community and developed a 360-degree assessment for this profession.Specialties: Surveys, assessment, 360-degree feedback, Assessment Centers, Simulations, Diversity & Inclusion
