About Timothy King

I grew up in a small town in Northern California without a path before me; my parents were divorced and I lived with my dad and brother, and life was spent just trying to survive as I had no purpose that I knew of. I grew up not really knowing who God was, not knowing about my Saviour even though I said I did, and not caring about my life; I grew up lost and alone. After wandering aimlessly through failure after failure, I met the woman who would change my life and later become my wife, Mary. Through the passion Mary showed me of her love for Christ, she sowed the seeds upon my heart, and they grew. Mary led me to my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and in doing so, I gave myself to Him; I stopped trying to do my will, and started doing His. Once I started truly following the Lord and stopped being the hypocrite I was, my life changed; I got a new job which caused Mary and I to move to Tennessee, and our family grew in our love of the Lord as our new and awesome life began. Through this new life, this rebirth as a child of God, I found myself yearning to create and express my love for our Saviour through the written word; and with that yearning and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I have begun writing and self-publishing my works. I have written three books now, a 90-day devotional, a full year devotional, and a full-length novel, which I am presently working on the sequel; and for my sister, I am working on a topical healing devotional she has asked for.
