Comply with Saftronics Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems.• Meet with Clients to discuss specific job requirements.• Provide assistance to the Projects team to the planning and implementation of a project.• Designing systems and products.• Reading design specifications and technical drawings / schematics.• Researching suitable solutions and estimating costs and timescales for variation works.• Provide information to CAD department for production of AutoCAD Mechanical / Electrical Drawings.• Prepare final documentation (O&M Manual, As Built Drawings etc.)• Provide support to the test and field service engineers for fault finding & rectification.• Materials requisitioning.• Provide support to the Project Managers, Project Engineers and other design team site and workshop personnel.• Mentor other Electrical / Mechanical Engineers.• Project liaison with subcontract and Client’s personnel from enquiry stage to final acceptance and documentation.• Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements.• Prepare site documentation in accordance with environmental, quality and health and safety procedures.• Carry out site surveys when required in conjunction with Senior Electrical Engineer - Power and Control, Head of Engineering.• Carry out all other tasks as requested within the post holder’s appropriate skill set.
