ABOUT TIMOTHY J. GRANT
After 2+ years of retirement I went back to my medical malpractice roots and joined a small San Diego-based law firm that specializes in the defense of malpractice claims brought against health care professionals. I’ve enjoyed an AV rating since 1997, and I hope to to put my 30+ years of litigation experience to better use than just sitting on the beach. Before retirement I had worked 27+ years at Fredrickson, Mazeika & Grant LLP (FMG), where I was a founding partner, senior trial attorney, and managing partner from 20••••19. FMG closed 2 years after I retired. Prior to working at FMG I had worked for 6 years as a litigation associate in San Diego at two other law firms. Through all the years the legal experience I’ve enjoyed the most is to mentor young attorneys and staff. I’ve always believed that If I want to lift myself up, then I need to help lift up someone else.
