Over 25 years of practice Tim has developed into a seasoned employment litigator who is regularly retained as lead counsel in high stakes litigation involving seven- and eight-figure disputes across California. Since 1994, Tim has handled hundred of cases, working with a broad range of clients in employment litigation, including individuals, class of employees and consumers, small businesses, and large enterprises. Tim also regularly assists executives with employment contract and separation issues. Tim guides companies in training activities, and in pre-litigation counseling. Each year, Tim also authors and updates employment law treatises and practice guides for attorneys, and speaks at seminars to train other employment lawyers on advanced practice skills. Tim is also active in leadership roles in local and statewide bar associations.

He has considerable experience with wage-and-hours issues, having litigated scores of such cases over 25 years, among hundreds of cases in various federal and state courts at trial and on appeal, in arbitration and mediation, and administrative proceedings. Tim also has extensive experience in class action and complex litigation in federal and state courts throughout California. Tim writes and speaks on wage-and-hour topics annually.Tim is active in various bar associations, including the American Bar Association and State Bar of California/California Layers Association, and their sections on Labor & Employment. Tim is currently serving as a Member of the California Lawyers Association Labor and Employment Section Executive Committee. Tim is an active member with the San Diego County Bar Association, serves on its Bench-Bar Committee, and is a past Co-Chair of the SDCBA\'s Labor & Employment Law Section. Tim volunteers with Lawyers Club of San Diego, an attorney organization dedicated to advancing the status of women in the law and society, and is also an member of the Tom Homann LGBT Law Association. Tim is also an alumni of the Louis M. Welch Chapter of the American Inns of Court, a nationwide association of judges and lawyers committed to the preservation of ethics and civility in the practice of law.Tim has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
