ABOUT TIMOTHY CLYNE
Timothy is a passionate nurse leader with a myriad of acute medical surgical, geriatric and oncology experience. He completed his B.A. in psychology with a minor in disabilities studies and selected coursework in business fundamentals from the University of Delaware and went on to receive his A.A.S in nursing from Union County College/ Trinitas School of Nursing. This was completed while honing his skills in various acute adult and child psychiatric, including alcohol and chemical detoxification settings at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center, N.Y. He further pursued his studies at the College of Saint Elizabeth where he received a M.S.N in nursing education. Finally, he completed his Doctorate in Nursing Practice focusing on Executive Leadership at Drexel University. Timothy has enjoyed an active role in the Oncology Nursing Society as President and Secretary in a regional N.J. chapter. He is an adjunct faculty member at the College of Saint Elizabeth. He has cultivated a passion for advocating for the elderly and has developed and successfully implemented a hospital wide evidence based program for delirium prevention. He has shared his passion through presentations for delirium prevention in the elderly at the local, regional and national level. He is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) as well as a Certified Nurse Manager and Leader. Timothy has been recognized by the Oncology Nursing Society as one of the “40 emerging leaders under 40.” He has received recognition from the New Jersey League for Nursing, March of Dimes and most recently was honored by Drexel University for his excellence in professionalism as well as Saint Elizabeth University for his expertise in educating in the adjunct faculty role.
