Am I the right fit for the role you are looking to fill?\" I\'m a tell it like it is, old school Navy Chief (Tested, Selected, Initiated), no candy coating, give you the \"STRAIGHT\" answer kind of guy. I know the importance of Team work and actively work to build, mentor and maintain strong Teams. I have many years experience in Program/Project Management/Learning and Development/Senior Technical Writer/Documentation Manager/Process Improvement Specialist disciplines within the technical publications arena that I\'m looking to share. What role do you need to fill? The diversity of my experience allows me to bring a different perspective when approaching an issue and designing a solution. I am able to draw on a wide body of knowledge and an incredible network of professionals gained over many years when looking at an issue and designing a solution. Let\'s put it this way, whenever my bosses needed to get something difficult accomplished, they would come to me. They knew that I love a challenge and that the results they got in return for issuing that challenge would be more than they had hoped for. I have ability, a crazy sense of humor and a \"Never Quit\" attitude. I love to working with, teaching and mentoring young people and seeing them flourish. I embrace the TEAM concept and strive to ensure everyone is involved, feels a sense of purpose, understands and embraces the culture of where they are. I strongly feel that understanding and embracing the culture and mission where you work leads to a greater appreciation of your job, which in turn leads to better results. Through training and years of practical experience I have a highly developed ability to see the strategic \"Big Picture\" with the ability to execute at the \"Tactical\" level. I don\'t have a degree or all the fancy certifications so many companies seem to desire, but what I do have is experience \"Getting Stuff Done\" and a body of work and success that speaks for itself. You will have to decide if that is good enough to move me forward or not. One final note: Don\'t overlook me because of my age, take advantage of my experience to help improve your organization for the next 5 to 7 years, then I\'ll be ready to retire, create art.
