Compared to my childhood just the tooling has changed – from LEGOs to computer software.The digital revolution has changed our daily life and interaction so far, that nobody goes out without their smart phones. Moreover, what keeps the world running is heavily backed by computer (-aided) systems. New technologies arrive all the time. In computer science, the changes are even more rapidly than in most other fields. It requires from everyone continuous learning even on the founding level instead of just applying A to B. Decisions need to be based on facts, understanding and experience as making them requires responsibility and will have long-term effects.In my education, I have learned much about computer science with a focus in software, the architecture as well as scalable, distributed, cloud systems. In multidisciplinary and international teams, I have gained experience and have shown my style of leadership. Experiences in new countries have only contributed to my personality.Starting with the beginning of university, I have also gained working experience in the different sectors with different companies. Getting in touch with different programming languages and technologies like Java, Python, C++, Linux, Docker, AWS, Serverless, MySQL, NoSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB and web-related technologies offer me a wide-range of options to choose from depending on the original problem. Security and privacy has and will always be an important aspect to consider as well. In the end, we are all humans after all.
