About Tim Mathy

I’m a Senior Partner with SpeakInc and have 20 years of experience booking speakers and entertainers, though I know from looking at my profile picture, you probably think I started when I was 12! I’ve worked with all types of Fortune 500 companies and large associations lining up politicians, athletes, celebrities, comedians, motivational speakers, entertainers, and several big names bands. The meetings industry is an amazing place. It’s exciting to help steer an event and see the energy my speakers bring to the audience. I’m actively involved in the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and I participate on a leadership committee every year. In 2014, I served as the Convention Chair for PCMA Convene Boston. I recently accepted a 3-year term on the Board of Governors for the International Association of Speakers Bureaus (IASB). I have also been involved with other acronyms that may not mean much to some of you including; ASAE, MPI, SITE, NSA, ISES. These are all great associations that really work to help make meetings impactful.My colleagues know me as a highly creative partner who can always be trusted to come up with the best ideas when booking speakers. My goal is to make meeting professionals look good and make their job easier. I’m passionate about partnering with my clients and I’ve been very fortunate to work with some of the same organizations for over 18 years. I’m all about quality relationships. When it’s crunch time, I will always have your back. I studied at the country club known as The University of San Diego and spent a semester in Oxford, England. I way outkicked my coverage in my personal life and have a wonderful wife, Jennifer, to go along with my three children, Bobby, Daniel, Sarah and our crazy family dog, Luna.(and I’m not afraid to admit that my daughter Sarah walks all over me!) In my spare time, I’ll watch anything on ESPN, love playing poker, and diving into a best-seller.
