Duties include, review of drawings, running preliminary calculations on Compress software to identify the min/max thickness of various pressure retaining parts, implementing code file documentation with Long Industries, Inc. engineering department, review and purchase of materials based upon material type, origin of manufacture, availability and cost, creating project driven schedules using Microsoft Office Project, and review of each project upon completion to ensure the project was completed within the allotted time frame required and stayed within budget.
