WORK HISTORY
Managing Director @Data Hq Ltd
In the two years before the pandemic, I often felt that the way we and other suppliers in our sector operated, had become tired. The proposition had not really changed in 15 years. So, during the pandemic I found the time to think hard about what we could do to offer more, how to differentiate the Data HQ proposition and set us apart from the rest. Our industry has been (and still is) plagued with poor and incomplete data, channels that aren’t integrated, crowded noisy markets, and providers who give you the same old, same old results. So we took our knowledge of data, technology and ideas and created something new. Something that smashes the old flat data buying models, and instead focuses on individual people and their behaviours, something that opens your mind to who your best prospects really are, and where they might be found. As a result, my team and I created our groundbreaking database Vista in 2020 - a B2B database designed specifically to give advantage to B2B marketers. It’s quite unique and I\'d love to show it to you.And then in 2021 we built Dynamo, a multi-channel B2B lead nurturing platform that integrates with our Vista database and gives sales & marketing campaigns real oomph. It was also important to me that Data HQ became a more rewarding and fulfilling place to work. And I knew that if I could do that, then this would be reflected in doing great work for our clients too. My door is always open, and I welcome connections from people who are pushing the boundaries in B2B sales & marketing.

ABOUT TIM HOLT
Thank you for taking a look at my profile, here\'s a bit about me.Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister when I left School in May 1981. Duran Duran, Ultravox, and Madness were in the charts, it was the era of Mods and Rockers, I was into rock - Led Zep, Motorhead, AC/DC and Deep Purple on 7\" black vinyl. The only rapping that was done back then was at Christmas.Skip forward 40 years and this is me now• 50 something, apparently the new 30 something• Sometimes a bit old and grumpy, but I smile and keep an open mind• Dad to a teenage daughter, and two dogs• Financially stressed, my wife and daughter have an obsession with horses IYKYK• Play golf in the summer and ski in the winter• Gardening or DIY at the weekend – it’s my therapy• I love and hate THFC in equal measure• Sometimes I get called an entrepreneur – I think that flatters me, I\'m not, I just work hard• My greatest strength – recruiting and networking with people considerably smarter than me• My greatest weakness – PringlesAs owner of Data HQ for 20+ years I have learned and gained so much in my life. Owning and running a business is a tough gig, it can be as exhilarating as it can be soul destroying. In the early days I quickly realised that to grow a successful business I had to surround myself with clever people to do the things I couldn\'t - the best of which are still with me now.The 7” vinyls are long gone, but my Spotify playlists are still full of AC/DC, Led Zep, Motorhead, Rainbow, Pink Floyd and Deep Purple.
