About Timothy Eng

Timothy Eng is a Lead Generative & Agentic AI Architect & SME Morgan Stanley, reporting directly to the head of AI Architecture. He leads the architecture, deployment, and enterprise-scale adoption of generative and agentic AI systems across Wealth Management, designing and implementing division-wide and firm-wide platforms that deliver business value under enterprise governance and risk constraints. He partners with leading AI vendors including OpenAI to operationalize advanced capabilities in production.With deep experience in AI system architecture, cloud-native platforms, and end-to-end production delivery, Tim brings expertise spanning AI, product management, data analytics/science, and software engineering. He serves as a technical advisor to senior leadership on complex AI systems and strategy, connecting business, technology, and executive stakeholders to drive AI innovation at scale.Tim was recently selected as one of 10 recipients of the Morgan Stanley Rising Star Global Technology Excellence Award from thousands of nominees across the global tech organization. He holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management and bachelor\'s degrees in Music (summa cum laude) and Physics (concentrating in Computer Science) from Cornell University.Beyond the technology space, he is a conductor, oboist, and pianist with almost 20 years of combined experience.
