ABOUT TIM DURHAM
I worked in IT Testing for 22 years. For most of that time I worked for IT consultancies as a Principal Consultant, taking on assignments across the UK. I am a certified ISEB Practitioner in Software Testing, a certified Prince 2 Practitioner in Project Management and an ILM Certified trainer. My roles within the Consultancies included Team Management, Recruitment, Line Management, Coaching & Mentoring and Training. While working for clients my roles included managing the delivery of testing across multiple projects at Programme level, working with Business Managers and delivery teams to ensure that the risks at point of release are fully understood, managing test teams and hands-on testing. I created Test Strategies and Test plans, and produced clear and concise reports for management. I have first-hand experience of delivering System Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Business Acceptance Testing, Integration Testing and Operational Acceptance Testing. I have created Automated Functional Testing suites and have managed Performance Testing teams. I am an experienced user of HP ALM. I gained my test experience across a variety of sectors including Retail Banking, Investment Banking, Credits Cards, Life & Pensions, General Insurance, Back Office, NHS NPfIT and Government Gateway.
