Delivery Manager for a number of different projects, my favourite being the following one.Context: The client had many ways for their customers to discover their services, solutions and content, they wanted a single one-stop shop that allows customers to browse and search, and an integrated provisioning workflow for obtaining access. An initial dashboard had been developed by a temporary team, our team was to take that dashboard into live use and evolve the product.Highlights: Built up a welcoming and safe environment where people are encouraged to grow and develop Led the refinement of the existing Kanban process, improving the visibility of the production release aspects of the flow and adding further Work In Progress limits Documented the working practices including Definition of Ready, Definition of Done and other policies that guide decision-making Reinvigorated meetings with senior stakeholders and diligently tracked actions in order to achieve common objectives Analysed the lead time of tickets, which helped with agreeing delivery dates with the business Led weekly reviews where the team could demo their latest work to the business, gather feedback and ask questions about the project goals Shared our experiences company-wide via the Agile GuildThe initial dashboard went live and its success led to other areas of the business asking for their own. The individuals became a resilient team, flexible to respond to changes in business priority. The time taken to complete the production release process was reduced from 3 days to 2 hours. The team was able to resolve production bugs within 6 hours. Neighbouring teams adopted our processes.
