I lead external communications for Advocate Health’s Heart & Vascular Service Line—one of the nation’s largest cardiovascular programs—supporting strategic markets across the Southeast and Midwest, including Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Georgia, Chicago, and Milwaukee. In partnership with clinical and marketing leaders, I shape the voice of our nationally recognized cardiovascular care, driving growth, reputation, and engagement.Develop and execute external communication strategies that support enterprise goals, market differentiation, and service line growth across five major regions.Lead earned media outreach to secure impactful local, regional, and national coverage that elevates heart care innovation, access, research, and equity.Produce patient-facing stories and content for Advocate Health’s social platforms and blogs, driving awareness across an audience of 3M+.Translate complex cardiovascular topics—clinical trials, device innovation, care milestones—into compelling narratives that resonate with patients and media.Collaborate with physicians to build thought leadership and extend their reach through press, digital content, and social media channels.Work cross-functionally with marketing, digital, internal comms, and reputation management teams to amplify enterprise priorities with clarity and consistency.Support proactive and reactive communications planning, using media insights and stakeholder feedback to shape strategy and messaging.Help position Advocate Health as the first and best choice for heart and vascular care in key metro markets like Charlotte, Chicago, Winston-Salem, Milwaukee, and Macon.
