The past few years have highlighted mental health as a critical issue in the live music industry, but we’re still in the dark when it comes to real data about the conditions and effects of living our lives on the road. The Tour Health Research Initiative (THRIV) is a small team of psychologists, researchers, and touring professionals committed to the development of scientific, evidence-based strategies to improve the health and mental health of touring artists and crew members. We believe that the foundation of all effective change and health improvement is scientific research and a data-driven approach, allowing for the development of strategies that are proven-to-work, replicable, and measurable.
