About Tim Whiteman

Every day is a learning day. I believe in this and am always striving to become more knowledgeable in everything I do. My experience in managing people and claims has shown that listening and attention are just two key items people want in a leader that they can trust and go to with questions for answers. I enjoy being a part of an organization that understands people are different and that means different styles of management for each person. Everyday in the insurance claims realm there are requirements that must be met, and a good mentor helps everyone achieve those goals. If there are any issues with getting the goals achieved, then as a leader you have to look at the processes that were used and see where the shortcomings are and adjust accordingly. Understanding that projects are always going to arise that may be uncomfortable at first to take on, for me are good drivers to reach up and pull myself to that next level. This is rewarding on so many levels because it means another lesson learned. One thing I am proud of, is the people that I have been fortunate enough to work with have all stated they appreciate my willingness to help with anything that needs to be done and can do it with little or no guidance and they know it will be taken care.
