About Tim White

Tim White is a Principal and the Chief Investment Officer of Insight Property Group where he is responsible for setting the acquisition strategy and sourcing new projects. Tim is also responsible for the financial structuring and underwriting of all real estate acquisition and development transactions.Prior to Insight, Tim was an Acquisitions Analyst in the Investment Property Group at the Van Metre Companies. While at Van Metre, Tim focused on sourcing and underwriting multifamily, retail, and mixed-use acquisitions throughout the greater Washington, DC MSA.Tim began his career as a Valuation Analyst at Primatics Financial where he was responsible for providing management consulting services for bank-to-bank Merger and Acquisition transactions.Tim earned a B.B.A. in Finance from James Madison University and a Master’s in Real Estate from Georgetown University where he served on the Student Advisory Board for Real Estate.Tim is an active member of the DC Real Estate Group, Urban Land Institute, and a member of the Board of Trustees for Emerging Scholars, which provides independent school education to families with bright children facing economic challenges. Tim also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University in the Master’s in Real Estate Program
