ABOUT TIM WELLEN
Postgraduate in Finance with a focus on Corporate Finance. During my studies, I particularly delved into the areas of business valuation and discovered my special interest in DCF and integrated three-statement modeling. My master thesis covered equity research of an international corporation operating in the consumer retail sector and included a comprehensive detailed valuation by relative as well as intrinsic techniques. I have gained experience, especially in M&A advisory, and have been involved in different parts of the M&A life cycle. This includes participating in commercial due diligence for private equity as well as supporting in the relative valuation of companies based on multiples. I enjoy working in an international environment and spent a significant time of my studies abroad, including in the USA, Australia as well as Portugal. The time abroad has taught me to adapt quickly to new situations and to face challenges with an open mind.
