About Tim Doherty
My mission-critical environment career started in 2006 as a US Navy Nuclear Machinits\'s mate. In the fifteen years since, I\'ve continued serving in mission-critical roles, most recently as a Operations Manager of Sabey Data Centers\' Ashburn, Virginia campus. Day-to-day, I would direct and supervise the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of all onsite systems, critical and non-critical. I helped our tight-knit 9-person Operations team learn and grow, providing a one-on-one training, drills, and guided hands-on experience to our junior techs. During my time in the Navy, I developed a strong sense of pride in first-time quality of work. As Machinery Division\'s lead quality assurance inspector, I was able to share and foster this positive sentiment amongst my teammates by providing one-on-one informal mentoring, formal group training, and direct and honest feedback.
