ABOUT TIM STONE

My consulting background and experience in the third/voluntary sector has given me a varied work experience: from mentoring individuals to co-ordinating large scale events, managing programmes.across all business levels and giving me operational exposure. Whatever projects I have undertaken, I have sought to develop my understanding of people to better anticipate and meet both their needs and expectations and to support and challenge them to deliver excellent outcomes. Currently working in the Infrastructure Engineering and Technology sector, I am building my Operational management experience and technical knowledge in this field.My experience across both public and private sectors has given me a broad appreciation for different individuals, teams and organisations along with the challenges they face. My experience of working within various leadership settings, means I have delivered and supported new initiatives including process, technical and organisational development to meet needs within organisations and communities. Within my previous and current role I have- Built experience of managing the operational L&D function- Designed and managed Technical Competency Frameworks and associated training and development- Lead the learning and development of an international consulting initiative in the pharmaceutical sector which has outperformed targets in their first three years- Lead the behavioural aspect of large scale infrastructure bids worth over £250m- Implemented Leadership & Management Development programmes- Designed and delivered innovative training programmes using webinars and face to face sessions for the Police and a large County Council - Project managed the development of a 360 Feedback tool and implementation of psychometric tools into various organisational settings- Account Managed both new and existing clients- Managed projects from end to end including building and developing delivery teams- Lead teams and line managed staff, managed internships and project staff - Delivered Coaching and Training in a wide variety of both Public and Private organisationsAlways with a eye on my personal development I am Chartered by the CIPD, an NLP Practitioner, an ILM Level 7 qualified Coach, delivered accredited ILM training and certified in a number of psychometric tools whilst also being BPS qualified.
