ABOUT TIM STETTNER

I am enthusiastically looking for a career in business management with a background in accounting at a high-end, award winning country club in Boca Raton, FL. This experience has introduced me to mastering Microsoft Excel, while also gaining knowledge on how budgets and multi-million dollar country clubs operate and pay vendors on a weekly basis.The industry of business management focuses solely on the building and growth of businesses to reach and exceed their goals in every aspect possible. While taking part in the accounting department at Woodfield Country Club, I have maximized the opportunity to understand the budgeting process of events, understand why budgets are met, or not, and see how and what happens when one or the other comes true. I have also seen firsthand how money is allocated for each department to put on luxurious events while also earning enough profit to pay vendors to put on these events.Although accounting is a specific niche in the business world, it has allowed me to gain an enormous amount of knowledge on budgeting, meeting goals, and managing cash flow to ensure payments are received and sent on time and for proper amounts. This experience is beneficial and crucial to a student aspiring to get a job in the business management field.
