Jul 2015 — Present · Washington, DC, US
As a Cartographer in the Geography and Map Division of the Library of Congress, my primary responsibility is to create cartographic products and perform geospatial analysis and research at the request of members and committees of the United States Congress, the Congressional Research Service, and other divisions within the Library of Congress. I have also led technical trainings and taught GIS concepts across the Library, empowering staff to create and publish \"Story Maps\"(interactive web applications supported by Esri). Additionally, I perform database management tasks and coordinate with other data managers and technical support staff to improve geospatial data holdings and applications for the Library.
