Assist energy, chemical, manufacturing, real estate, and agricultural clients with state and federal litigation and regulatory compliance and enforcement- Comprehensive environmental practice addressing the Clean Water Act (CWA), Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), Clean Air Act (CAA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA or Superfund), Toxics Release Inventory program (TRI), and other environmental, health, and safety regulations at the federal and state level- Extensive litigation experience related to environmental pollution and contamination issues associated with upstream oil and gas operations, midstream (i.e, pipelines), and disposal of oil field wastes, including assisting clients with issues related to Underground Injection Control (UIC) wells falling under federal and state jurisdiction- Extensive experience working on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) issues, including site investigations and development of containment and remedial programs- Assist clients with management and operation of public water systems (PWS)- Frequently draft and submit comments to proposed energy and environmental rules and regulations- Assist clients with intra- and interstate oil and gas pipeline development and operations, and state and federal regulatory compliance of pipelines- Land use agreements including easements, leases, and other agreements related to brine development, saltwater disposal, CO2 storage, and various surface uses related to conventional and renewable energy development and agriculture- Pro bono practice devoted to criminal justice reform and nonprofit entity creation and support in Oklahoma.
