ABOUT TIM SMITH
I have worked for over 30 years for RR Civil Aerospace, and during this time I have held a number of roles, in Service Engineering, Customer Support, Customer Management and Process Improvement. I have been fortunate to work with customers across the globe with many different cultures (American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Thai Airways, China Airlines) supporting their in service operations. I have delivered process improvement programmes in support of business transformation. I have delivered a large number of entry into service engine campaigns preparing for new aircraft introduction including the Airbus A350 & Boeing 787. I have worked within a matrix structure and I have led globalised direct and indirect teams in both technical and non-technical functions. I am a qualified Engineer & Programme Manager and I am now looking for a new challenge where I can engage with customers at all levels and deliver outstanding customer service.
