Conduct Fire Investigations to determine origin, cause and potential for subrogation. Prepare in-depth reports and drawings to document findings, interview relevant witnesses, collection of physical evidence and maintaining proper chain of custody. Use of photography and video to accurately document scene and findings. Develop and implement strategies for any necessary follow-up investigation and interviews. Communicate and assist legal counsel as necessary on issues pertaining to assigned cases and testify in civil and criminal court proceedings. Communicate and coordinate assigned investigations with claims and legal personnel.
