ABOUT TIM SHUMRICK

Tim is the leader for the Architects and Engineers team within the Design | Construction practice at Oswald Companies in Cincinnati, responsible for client relations and new business development throughout southern Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.With over 11 years of P&C insurance experience in claims, underwriting, and product development across all major Lines of Business, I am a utility player who loves building relationships, hosting education seminars, and researching risk management and insurance solutions for clients. My primary goal is helping protect what matters to you: your business, your reputation, your legacy.My risk management and insurance work focus on Professional Liability solutions for the Design and Construction Industry as well as Property, General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation, Cyber and Executive Risk coverages.Having handled claims and underwritten accounts for built-environment risks, I have years of experience when it comes to best practices for insurance risk management, and the cautionary tales that emerge when those best practices aren’t in place.I am a member of several professional organizations, national and local to the Cincinnati area, including- CPCU Society Cincinnati Chapter- Allied Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA)- The Urban Land Institute (ULI)- Cincinnati Preservation Society (CPA)- Previously the VP of Education and Divisional Director for Toastmasters International where I led several clubs comprised of over 100 members.
