   As Director of Quality, I lead a team of subject matter experts developing best practices to improve processes and procedures in the passenger transit realm with the goal of getting better each and every day. Moving people is a complex and dynamic responsibility with new challenges at every turn. To be the best, it takes alignment with regard to goals, continual improvement, innovation, regulatory compliance, and many other factors. To get there, we have to be better today than we were yesterday, and better tomorrow than we are today.Every day we wake up and grind, as a team, to be the best in the world. By chipping away at the finest of details, we position ourselves to continue leading the industry in getting people to their destinations safely and efficiently. From the northeast corridor to south Florida, from north Texas to central California, and throughout the heart of our country, Herzog is leading the way and I’m proud to be a part of our journey.Our culture creates an environment where empowerment, transparency, collaboration, and accountability are paramount. From our beginnings as a local paving contractor in St. Joseph, MO to now having a major footprint throughout North America, Herzog has the unique distinction of being the only contractor with the scope and expertise to build, operate, and maintain railroads.
