About Tim Shim
Hi! I’m Tim Shim, a third-year Informatics student at the University of Washington passionate about building innovative, user-centered solutions. I started in UX and product design and have grown into product strategy and management, working at the intersection of design, problem-solving, and product direction. On campus, I lead marketing and growth efforts through Product Space and Alpha Kappa Psi. Most recently, I worked with Amazon to explore ways to improve delivery operations. Moving forward, I’m focused on opportunities in product and growth—helping teams scale and tackle meaningful challenges. One of my biggest goals is to give back to the people who have supported me throughout my journey, especially my parents, and to be part of a team where I can develop products that truly make a difference in people\'s lives while helping scale companies through user-centered design and strategic problem-solving. Outside of work and school, I love playing tennis, I am currently training to run a marathon, and I enjoy exploring fashion and different creative projects. I love finding inspiration in design, art, and culture and bringing that creativity into the work I do. I also have been deeply into my personal finances I’m always excited to collaborate!
