Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement ofOpenRecovery’s AI-powered role-play training systems for peer support specialists, facilitators,and recovery professionals.Define training frameworks that translate evidence-based recoverypractices (e.g, motivational interviewing, engagement, readiness for change) into scalable AIrole-play scenarios and simulations.Collaborate closely with engineering, AI, and product teams to shapeproduct requirements, conversation flows, personas, scoring mechanisms, and feedback loopswithin the peer training and management platform.Oversee the creation and curation of training content used to train bothhuman peers and AI models, including scripts, scenario libraries, evaluation rubrics, andcompetency benchmarks.Evaluate training effectiveness using behavioral signals, engagementmetrics, outcome data, and qualitative feedback, and use those insights to iterate on bothtraining content and product features.Partner with external stakeholders (certification bodies, recoveryorganizations, treatment providers, and peer networks) to ensure training aligns with real-worldpeer workflows, regulatory expectations, and best practices.Guide the onboarding and ongoing development of peer specialists usingAI-assisted training tools, ensuring peers are supported before, during, and after live clientinteractions.Establish standards for peer performance, supervision, and qualityassurance within the platform, including how AI role-play insights inform coaching, supervision,and escalation pathways.Maintain structured documentation of training methodologies, AI behaviorguidelines, peer competencies, and product decisions for internal alignment, compliance, andpartner reporting.Research and integrate emerging methods in AI simulation, adultlearning, workforce training, and behavioral health delivery to keep OpenRecovery’s trainingand product approach industry-leading.
