Tim is a specialist in the implementation of tax-efficient business models by multinational companies (Value Chain Management – ‘VCM’). Tim takes an integrated tax, commercial and operational approach to business transformation. This is reflected in the nature of many of his recent projects, which are typically cross-disciplinary with the close involvement of KPMG management consulting and client operational teams.Tim is KPMG’s UK Head of Tax Policy, acting as the face of the firm on policy matters in the print and broadcast media, as well as the primary policy contact for HM Treasury and HMRC. He also led the firm’s tax response to the UK exit from the EU, and co-led the design and roll-out of KPMG’s global Value Chain Analysis (“VCA”) methodology.Tim features regularly in the UK and European media on domestic and international tax topics, including BBC radio and TV news, Bloomberg, the FT, The Times, Guardian and other UK daily newspapers.
